Annual Spring Shoot

As of now: Due to Covid19 there will be no spring shoot this year
Registration: 9:30 am – 10:25 am
Fee: $5.00 per Adult/Juniors $3.00
Start: 10:30 am – (bring your own lunch, coffee and water supplied)
Qualification
All Firearms are to be sporting weight only!
No heavy / varmint weight barrels
All rifles, High Power & .22 will be shot from a sitting position at the shooting bench, no artificial rests or supports (rifle slings allowed on High Power rifle only) Shoot off your elbows!
Competitions:
High Power Sporting Rifle
5 shots on Bear target – 200 Meters - maximum 10 points per hit
5 shots on Deer target – 100 Meters - maximum 10 points per hit
(Shoot-out for ties – 3 shots at 200 yards – sitting at shooting bench
No artificial rests)
Shot Gun
10 shots Trap (automatic thrower)
5 points per hit
10 shots Sporting Clays (manual thrower)
5 point per hit
.22 Sporting Rifle
3 Game targets
5 shots per target
25 Meters
10 points per head shot
5 points per body shot

High Power Sporting Rifle
Highest score on Deer target
Senior/Junior/Veteran/Ladies classes
1st , 2nd & 3rd winners in each class
(Senior Class for the high Power Sporting Trophy)
Combination
Highest score overall for Rifle – Shotgun - .22 Rifle
Senior/Junior/Veteran & Ladies Classes – 1st, 2nd, 3rd, winners in each class (Senior Class for the Combination Trophy)
Class Ages
Junior – 12-17 years
Senior - 18-64 years
Veteran- 65+
Ladies – all ages compete together in the same classification
