St. Hubertus Game and Fish!
Upcoming shoot:
Sunday October 6th - October Sporting Shoot
Hello Shooters, thanks for the great response to pre-registration for Sunday’s event. We are now full with only room for 3 singles and one pair as of this writing. We have lots of hotdogs, so there is reward at the end of the day, European Wieners too.
Thanks in advance for your patience on course, if we can keep the wind down, we are going to have some good targets. If it keeps up, we’re going to have some great targets.
We have done our best to accommodate all squad requests, where we couldn’t you’ll meet some new people.
Further to the patience request, we are preloaded on all stations, but there will be target shortages if view pairs and do-overs get abused, throw what is needed, and police yourselves, we have done a lot to make everything visible, but if you traditionally have a little trouble seeing targets on the first go, please ask your squadmates to help a bit, and we can all enjoy as delay-free afternoon as possible.
Looking forward to the event, see you Sunday.
St. Hubertus Game & Fish will host their June Sporting Clays Shoot this weekend, Sunday October 6, 2024, at their Libau, MB Range.
All shooters welcome.
ATV & SXS welcome, but trails are not wide enough to accommodate any road-going vehicles. In any event, please tread lightly. As of Wednesday, it is advisable that you bring rubber boots, there are sections of the trail that are wet right across.
Payment by eTransfer is preferred, AutoDeposit is set up to for eTransfer to [email protected].
Cash and Interac accepted by Square Payments onsite, sorry no credit cards.
All shooters will be pre-squadded the morning of the event and assigned a station start. Groups of 5 maximum, please plan to work to this limit. Groups of 4 or 6 should be reasonable, but 2s or 7s aren’t.
10:30am Shotgun Start, 100-targets, $70 per shooter.
No ammunition will be available for purchase, please plan accordingly.
Eye and Ear protection for EVERYONE on the course is mandatory, the club will not have any supply for those that forget. You are responsible for your own PPE.
On-Site Registration: 9:00 - 10:00am, Pre-Shoot Safety Brief at 10:15am.
A maximum of 12 squads (roughly 60-shooters) will be strictly adhered to. Preregistration by email to [email protected] is requested, please use this to help organizers prepare for your visit.
At a minimum, your Squad Leader is required to pre-register and will be required to attend a quick information session in advance of the Pre-Shoot Safety Brief to update you on some changes to the wireless release systems that will be used throughout the course. The club will ask these squad leaders to share their new knowledge of the electronics with their squad-mates, if there are more shooters that want to take part in this information session, we will do this at 10:00am at a location to be determined at registration.
FREE Hot-Dogs will be served following the event. Bring your own drink and any snacks you might want to enhance your hot dog eating experience. Yep, free, we considered free targets and $70 hot-dogs but thought better of it.
Hope to see you on the course.
