Hope to see more shooters at the October 20th shoot.  This is St. Hubertus's last shoot of the year so try not to miss it.  Also note that this is a Sunday shoot.]]>Mon, 16 Sep 2013 18:01:55 GMThttps://www.sthubertus.ca/blog---sporting-clays/september-15th-brokenhead-river-game-fish-sporting-clays-shootI have never been out to the Brokenhead range before (http://www.brokenheadrivergameandfish.ca).  I was very impressed!  As this is a new range the sporting clays stations are a little rough around the edges but time will smooth them out.  The new clubhouse is a gem.  This is a long course but the walking is easy and well sheltered by trees.  This was a 15 station event.  Some of the presentations were... to say the least... challenging.  Can you say:  shoot hard left... then hard right on a true pair!  wow....  Tim P. you are a master!  I highly suggest you try to get a shoot in at Brokenhead.]]>Mon, 26 Aug 2013 15:28:13 GMThttps://www.sthubertus.ca/blog---sporting-clays/ducks-unlimited-sporting-clays-shoot1Okay... - Improve the trails so that they are not wet or full of holes
- Setup the stations near the practice traps FIRST so that participants can start practicing sooner
- Move our burn pile out of sight
- Replace station garbage cans that are old and "crappy"
- Replace some of our station shooting stands
- Replace some of our station gun storage stands
- Add benches to each station so that shooters can have a rest

I hope that the above "fixes" will make the next shoot an even better experience for all shooters.
